One of our most frequently asked questions is, "how do I pay for my
transport and is my transport
covered by my insurance...?"The answer
depends on the type of transport we provide you. While each patient's
coverage may be different, generally ambulance transports that are "medically
necessary" may be covered by insurance programs and our billing department will
submit a claim to Medicare, Medicaid on your behalf. There will be no claim
forms for you to fill out and no hassles with paperwork. If you are not
covered by these programs, but are covered under other insurance programs,
we will attempt to submit a claim for you to those insurance companies. Patients may be asked to complete a brief insurance information and release
form before outside provider network insurance claims are submitted.
We are what is called: Non-Participating Providers with Insurance
companies. Therefore any balance that is not paid by your insurance company
will be your responsibility.

non-covered services will be
responsible for payment of charges. West Coast - Southern Medical Service,
